My very first art show took place last Saturday October 11 for the Pelican Island Conservation Society. I entered two pieces, and lo and behold, they both won an award. My Breaking Wave received Best in show, and my great Blue Heron received first place in acrylics! Needless to say I was beyond myself with joy! The best in show award came with a cash prize! Upcoming shows include Art in the Park which takes place November 2nd at Humiston Park in Vero Beach. On it’s heels, is the Space Coast Fine Art Festival taking place at The Avenue in Viera, Florida weekend of the 8th and 9th in November.
