The ocean picture (24×22) is new and I had fun painting it. Deciding on the hues, and depth of the wave is always fun, and so subjective. Then again, I love doing pours (green and purple dutch pour 24×24). The butterfly (20×20) with a muted background was a fun one to paint too. The sea oats (24×12) on the bottom was an endeavor in using joint compound for dimension, then gold leafing, and finishing with resin. I think it is a sweet pic with the addition of butterflies.
My first show is the Space Coast Art festival November 8 and 9 in Viera Florida. Last year it was cancelled due to the hurricane and tornadoes that passed through. Vero Beach Art Club’s Art in the Park starts up on Sundays in November as well, November 2 and 23. December 7 and 21.
